Shipping and payment
# Shipping and payment
Pottery is fragile, so I take packing seriously. I try to answer everything that matters before you even ask. If something is missing, write to me and I will add it.
## How we pack
I wrap every piece by hand in paper and bubble wrap and cushion it so it cannot shift inside the box. For plates and vases I add extra straw or paper filling. In all my years of shipping only a few pieces have broken, and each time I sent a replacement or refunded the money. If something does reach you damaged, take a photo of it together with the packaging and write to me, and we will sort it out right away.
## Shipping
I ship across the whole Czech Republic. Over 1,500 CZK I cover the shipping myself, and below that amount you will see it calculated in the cart.
- Zasilkovna to a pickup point, 2 to 3 working days
- PPL to your address, 1 to 2 working days
- Personal pickup at the studio by arrangement, free of charge
I ship twice a week, because I spend most of my time at the wheel and the kiln. Your order goes out within three working days at the latest, and usually sooner for pieces in stock. As soon as I hand the parcel to the carrier, a tracking link arrives in your email.
## Personal pickup and visiting the studio
Are you from the area? You can pick your piece up right at the studio and take the chance to see where and how it is made. Write to me in advance so I am there and not busy at the kiln. Personal pickup is free.
## Payment
- Card online, instant and secure
- Bank transfer, I send the piece once the payment lands
- Cash on delivery, in cash or by card with the carrier
## Digital course and files
The online course and the PDF with the glaze recipe are not physical goods, so they are not sent by post. The download and streaming link arrives in your email right after payment, and your access stays with you for good.
## Returns and exchanges
You can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. Send the piece back to me undamaged and well packed, and I refund the money within a few days of receiving it. For second-grade pieces and for one-off raku-fired pieces, the small variations and flaws are described in the product listing and are not grounds for a complaint, because they belong to handmade work. Do you have a question about a specific piece, a glaze, or a size? Write to me at [email protected], and I usually reply the same day, when I am not at the kiln.
